Girls Night

I got to go with my sisters and mom to The Melting Pot for girls night. We had so much fun hanging out together and eating all that delicious food. I was so happy to be able to go.
Dallas switched his schedule for the day so he could be home to watch the kids so I could go have a night off. He is so awesome, love you babe!!
I love all my sisters so much and I love that we all get along so well.
And I love my Mom a ton! She is the best mom ever and I hope that I can be as good a mom to my kids as she has been for us. Thanks you guys for the fun night!

FALL!!!

I love the fall. I love when the air begins to cool, the mountains start changing colors and leaves begin to fall from the trees. I have always loved getting outside in the nice cool air and raking up a big pile of leaves for the little kids to jump in. When I was still living at home it was for my little brother and sister and my nephews and now that we have our own home, I get to do it for my kiddos. We have a huge tree in the front yard and it has dropped a ton of leaves. I am not sure how long I will love this tree, but it sure made a good pile of leaves for Brody and Baylee to jump in.

Throwing huge arms full of leaves at each other. They loved it!

Brody covered in leaves. He thinks that you can't see him with his camo hat on.
Baylee trying not to get leaves in her mouth.
Dallas was blowing all the leaves right at Baylee, she thought it was so funny. She just screamed and laughed the whole time. I love these people so much, they make me smile everyday.

Halloween

This year we had a family Halloween party 2 weeks before Halloween. My dad went all out to decorate this old methodist church in Ogden for the party and we had so much fun. This is the only picture I took though and I wish I would have taken more. It was such a fun party.
For Halloween, we took the kids to my Grandma's house to visit for a few minutes and when we left it was raining like crazy. Bummer. We went up to my mom and dad's trunk or treat and since it was raining it had been moved inside. It was crazy inside the gym at the church but the kids had a fun time.
After the trunk or treat we went to one of Dallas' friends house for dinner and to hang out. It had stopped raining so we had to take the kids out for some real trick or treating and they had so much fun. Here we are all dressed up ready for a fun time.

Ninja Brody
Bumblebee Baylee(sorry, bad picture)
Scary Dallas had to dress up as Mike Myers so he could scare people. I don't really like the scary stuff but he does. It is too creepy.
Me and my little Ladybug. I love that she has so much hair. She has pigtails for antennas. We had an awesome Halloween. Now on to Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am so excited!!

Decorating Pumpkins

This year I didn't really want to do the whole pumpkin carving thing. Usually I end up gutting and carving all of them. So I found these fun faces that you can just push into the pumpkin and they are done. It was so nice to not have to clean up all that mess. I am sure we will go back and forth with carving and these faces but it was a nice easy year this year. The kids wanted to put all of the pieces on the pumpkins so I had to limit them a little so it actually looked like a face. Brody used pig ears to make feet. What a funny kid.
Baylee liked Brody's idea of giving them feet and found some ears to make feet for hers. They had so much fun with this, I am glad they weren't set on carving.
Dallas' masterpiece!
And Me with my pumpkin!
Our little family of pumpkins, Zoe shared with me this year, she can pick one out next year when she is starting to walk around.

Picking Pumpkins

This year we went to Black Island Farms to pick our pumpkins. We waited a little to long this year and missed out on the place we wanted to go. It was very rainy and cold so Dallas stayed in the car with Zoe while I went with the kids on the wagon ride to the patch to find our pumpkins.

Brody and Baylee ready to find their pumpkins. They had a ton left but I took this picture of the side of the field that was nearly empty. They had so much fun finding the biggest ones they could.
Showing off their pumpkins, Brody thought it would be cool to sit on top of his.
We made it back to the car. The dirt road we went on was so muddy the wagon was sliding all over. It was quite a ride. Luckily there were a couple of guys helping carry the pumpkins from the field to the wagon since I was on my own out there with 4 huge pumpkins. They weren't that heavy but trying to keep 2 kids in sight and carry 4 pumpkins could get tricky. Even though it was wet and cold we had a fun time!
