It's A Girl!!!

We went to my 20 week ultrasound appointment on Thursday and these are the profile pics that we got of our little baby GIRL! Brody and Baylee are so excited to get a new baby sister, Brody wanted a girl ever since we told them that we were having a baby so when the U/S tech said it was a girl he had the biggest smile on his face. He loves his sister Baylee and will be such a good big brother to this little one too. Baylee is excited to be a princess with her but was sure to point out that she will have to get her own princess dress. I am excited to see how they are with a new baby and I am sure it will be an adventure.

This is a beautiful picture of me at 19 weeks. I thought I was 20 weeks but the measurements of the ultrasound showed the baby at 19 so that will probably push my due date back to about September 15. We will see what the doc says when I see him next. I have never done pics of myself through my other pregnancies and I wish that I would have, so now I am doing it with this one.

Grandma's Easter Egg Hunt

Every year my mom does an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids in her neighborhood and some of our family. It is always so much fun.

The day before the hunt we go up and help color eggs. She had 75 dozen to color this year so we do them in big buckets so it doesn't take all day. The kids love doing eggs and always have colorful hands after.

Usually the hunt is in my mom's huge backyard, but since there was 6 inches of snow on the ground, we did it in the gym at the church. There was candy everywhere, on the tables, chairs, ground, and some was even taped on the walls. The kids get to help put the candy out so here they are after all the candy was scattered all over.

Now we are ready for an Easter Egg Hunt.

My mom splits the kids up into age groups so that the big kids don't run over the little kids and then lets them all run for it. They had so much fun filling up their baskets.

Brody asked if he was supposed to fill his basket all the way, and Dallas told him he could if he wanted to, He got a huge smile on his face and said that he did want to. He was so excited to get all that candy. (To bad he doesn't know he won't actually get to eat it all.)

The kids with all their fun treats. They had so much fun. After the hunt we have a potluck dinner and then go home to crash in bed after the sugar high. Thanks for the fun hunt Mom and Dad.
