Disneyland Day 3

On our last day in Disneyland we all decided to split up a little so the big kids could go ride rides and the little kids could do some little rides and meet some more characters. We decided to take the kids back to the Disneyland park first. Here we are in front of the princess castle.
Baylee loves princesses and when she saw this
hat she just had to try it on.

Brody loves playing with swords and was excited to see a shield too. He always says Baylee is his princess and that he has to protect her.

Dallas and Baylee waiting for small world

Dallas and the kids on King Arther's Carousel

These kids love cotton Candy so we finally gave in and let them get a bag.

Me and the kids on the dumbo ride.

Baylee and Ariel. She Loves all the princesses. Her favorite right now is Belle but we didn't get to see her.

Baylee and Cinderella

The 3 Girls waiting in line to see the princesses

Baylee riding on the teacups. Brody was napping so he didn't ride with us.

Dallas and Baylee driving the Autopia cars. Baylee always wants to drive with Dallas in the car so she was so excited to get to finally drive him around.

Brody driving me around. He was a crazy driver.

All of us with Mickey Mouse.

This was the kids favorite ride so we had to go over to California adventure to ride it 1 more time before we had to leave. It is so much fun. We also took the kids to the Turtle talk with Crush. Brody wanted to ask crush How old he was so bad but he didn't get picked. He was so sad but after the show, the guy running the show saw that he was sad and told us to wait a minute and after everyone left he shut the doors and had crush come out again. Brody was so excited that he got to talk to Crush and found out that he was 140 years old. It was so awesome for that guy to be so nice and do that for Brody. It made our day that much better. We dad such an awesome time on this trip. Thanks Mom and Dad for taking us all. We Love you so much!!!

San Diego Zoo

On Thursday we went to the San Diego Zoo. It was so much fun to see all the animals that we have never seen at the Hogle Zoo. It is such a big zoo and we saw as much as we could but we didn't get to see everything.

This was a little play area they had for the kids to run around. They had fun pretending to dig up uncle Jake.

These foot messagers felt so good after 4 days of walking all day. The kids thought they tickled.

The Hogle Zoo's flamingos are not this pink. They were so pretty.

Brody and Baylee playing on the Hippopotomus Statue

Dallas and Brody waiting for the bird show. It was pretty fun to watch. They had a lot of different kinds of birds in the show.
Brody and Dallas checking out the rhinos

Me and Baylee at the giraffes. The baby was so cute and we were teasing Baylee because her pigtails look like the baby giraffes fluffy horns

Mission Beach

On Friday we all wanted to go to the beach and play there. We went to Mission beach and spent most of the day hanging out on the beach and shopping in the little shops along the beach. Baylee loved the water and kept running out in the waves. One knocked her over and she got sand and salt water all over her. She was done with the water after that.
The boys had skim boards and spent most of their time trying to figure out how to use them. There were a lot of crashes but they all had a lot of fun.

This is about as close as Brody would get to the water. He would walk up close and as soon as he saw a wave coming he would run back up the beach. He had fun playing in the sand and racing the waves.
All the cousins(minus Alissa) showing off the Sandcastle I helped them make. They wanted to fill up the moat with water but it would sink in as soon as they poured it in so that didn't work out very well. We all got a little toasted at the beach even with sunscreen on but it was a fun day!

Jungle Jims Playland

I took the kids to Jungle Jims to let them burn some energy, We are so ready for spring and needed to get out of the house for a while. They loved all the little rides and had a ton of fun.

Baylee and brody riding in these spinning cars together. They have so much fun together.

Riding the swings. We were planning on going with some kids in our neighborhood but they got sick that day so since the kids were already excited to go, we went anyway.

Baby #3

Yeah we are going to have another baby in September. We anounced our news to our family on Sunday. Two weeks ago my sister announced that she was also expecting. When she told us she was wearing a shirt that said baby bump on it so we decided that we would have Dallas wear a shirt with the same thing on it. At first they all thought we were just teasing because Dallas has been jokingly telling everyone that we were pregnant for about 2 months so they all thought he was still joking around but when I told them that I really am they were all very excited. The best part is that I get to be pregnant with my sister and my sister in law. We are all due this summer and I think it will be fun to have 3 new babies in the family.

Birthday Party

Brody and Baylee got to go to their first Birthday Party(besides cousin parties) last week.
They had so much fun. It was a Rainbow party for a little girl in our ward. They had all kinds of colorful treats and played fun games.
Brody Loves cupcakes
He was trying to hit everyone with his party blower

Taking a shot at the pinata, he got some pretty good hits.

Baylee dumped the whole bowl of nerds on top of her cake and ice cream.
Of course she did not eat it all but can you say sugar high. She was loaded.

Making Fruit Loop necklaces

Baylee concentrating on her necklace.

PRIMARY

Brody is in primary now! He loves that he gets to come to class with me now. I am in the presidency so when he found out that he gets to come to my class we was so excited. He loves being a sunbeam.

The first Saturday of January our primary had a meet your new teacher breakfast. Everyone got to come in their pajamas and we had a few activities with the classes. It was a very fun time and we had a great turn out. It helped so much on Sunday because the kids all knew where they were supposed to sit and the chaos wasn't as bad as it could have been with 100+ primary kids(30 of them were new sunbeams).

Brody sitting with his class after breakfast.

All the kids getting ready to watch a little movie about this years primary theme. Brody is sitting in the front.
On the first Sunday of January, Brody was very curious about everyone bearing their testimonies in sacrament meeting. He started asking me why they were all going up there and ended up begging to go bear his testimony. "please, please, please" he said. I tried to have him ask Dallas so I wouldn't have to go up with him, but he wanted me to take him up so Brody bore his testimony for the first time. It was very sweet and of course I ended up crying while I was trying to help him know what to say. He has such a great spirit with him and he always helps keep that spirit in our home. When he said amen and got down off the step, he looked up at me and said he wanted to do it again.
In Primary, he got to say the opening prayer. He loves getting up and talking in the microphone. It doesn't scare him at all. Hopefully that will stay with him and he won't inherit my nervousness about getting in front of people. I can't believe my little guy is already in primary. He is growing up so fast.
